No more than they annoy us! I mean, which is more annoying, being proud that you have quit smoking or having smoke blown in your face? I'll continue to be proud of my quit! I don't go around throwing it in others' faces, but believe me, when they ask what my N.O.P.E. bracelet means, they better be ready to hear the truth! LOL! :)
Crave the Quit!

Hi Phil and all :)
Do we annoy smokers? I think they feel annoid (spelling). They feel bad if someone says something about smoking. I think the reason for that is: No-one wants to face his/her weaknesses and every addiction is a weakness. They feel annoied, we don't make them feel annoid. We are not responsable for other peoples feeling, they make their own.
Thanks :p :p

We have a smoking area at work where I have met people that I don't work with so they really don't know me too well. So I just stopped going to the smoking area and I sometimes see the smokers in the lobby or other places in the building. I never hesitate to tell them I have quit and the reason is that I have COPD. I also throw in the fact that I was virutally having no symptoms. I want them to know that they aren't invincible either and it can happen to them also. I don't think they appreciate my frankness but tough it's the truth and I wish for their health that something I say sparks an interest in quiting. I think I really annoy them because they are in denial-just as I was also. Right now and on this issue I don't care what oppinion people have of me.

I don't know if we annoy them so much, as they wish they could quit too! I had one 'friend' who used to always remind me that she had quit, it just made me feel bad, because I was having trouble and couldn't. Come to think of it, she wasn't much of a friend. :)

I know one person I annoy, my local retailer of tobacco.
I drop by from time to time just to rub it in his nose how many days it has been since I smoked .He insists I,ll be back. :8|:

I have no idea but I know I have definitely annoyed some smokers who have tried to belittle my quit. My old smoking buddies mostly & they had it coming!

I just read this quote
'A positive attitude may not solve all your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort'
