Yes, I am proud to be smoke free. I am dealing with some emotional issues right now, so the cravings are creeping in. I know that I can handle these difficult situations without smoking. I finally KNOW that. Tommorrow is another day.

Hi stickin,
I have been feeling a little of this lately also. Like something is missing..like i have nothing to look forward to. But, who wants to look forward to a poisonous, disease causing, comforter? I know that someday I will not feel this way ever again. Thanks for the post.

Boy... This was just what I needed to hear today STI. Thanks! I've been feeling a little blue and missing my old, relaxed "contemplative smoke" this afternoon. Then I read your post, and am encouraged.
I just insert "he" for "she" and voila! My old friend wasn't one at all. In fact, he just knocked the "R" out of himself (the fiend) :eg:
I'm also encouraged by the stats of both you and Mr. Ed!
Thanks for your thoughts, for living them, and sharing them.

I now believe these to be Illusions
Looking back on it all, did she really comfort me when I needed someone to lean on? Did she team with that first cup of coffee in the morning making it perfection? Did she encourage the thought process, make me feel good when I was blue, calm me down when I was uptight or give me companionship when alone? Yes, I might of thought that way however I now believe these to be illusions created by the addiction.
There is no loss or pain only gains. As your morning starts with that first cup of coffee, realize that it alone is the team in and of itself.
Have a successful weekend, keep active
