That's awesome Freebird!!! Congrats, because I was a big driving smoker...I know how that one goes!

Congratulations Freebird. Life as a non-smoker is so awesome! It's a great world we've been missing isn't it??? I take a lot of trips now and do things I've never dreamed of doing before. Keep enjoying your freedom.

Hi Freebird,
I only went away for a weekend but the drive was great without the cigarettes and my husband moaning about the smell. It is great to be free and relaxed isn't it. Great job on your quit.

Well, made it through the first family vacation without smoking.
12 hour car trip on way to beach, 1 week sitting on the beach 13 hour car trip back. Very relaxing vacation.
For some reason the time we were there seemed to go at just the right pace. Not too fast nor slow. I don't know if that has something to do with not smoking or not, but I do know I never felt rushed, agitated, uptight and alot of other emotions I had on a couple of other vacations.
Even the drive was nice and relaxing. I could put my window down and let the fresh air in without ashes flying back in. Didn't have to just put it down a half inch. Got cut off and people tailgating more than a few times, but it didn't bother me.
I am just over 9 months now and looking forward to the 1 year mark.
