Thanks again everyone. So I made the 4 hour drive without giving in. I had moments where I know if I had some with me i would have smoked them.ed it was not worth pulling over to buy a pack so I did it. Really it was not that bad. Now my bigger problem has arrived. Maybe some of you can help me with this. I went to Chicago to pick up my familey at the airport. they have been out of town for 2 weeks with the death of a relative. I made my quit while they were gone. Now with my wife back i think of smoking all the time. It's like day one again. straightflop don't know if you remember or not, but we quit about the same time. congrats on the week. I made it too. it's amazing isn't it??? I spend a lot of time in the car too and that is where I tend to think about smoking the most. I put the smelly stuff in my car too (it helps). The thing that has helps me the most in the car though is I pulled out some of my old CDs, music I really like but haven't heard for a while, and turned it up. Not sure if it will work for somebody else, but it is helping me. Thank you everybody. I've got a few hard things coming in the next few days but that will just help me learn them earlier than finding out in 2 months that I have major problems with certain situations. I have not thought of a 1 week gift. i think i will go out for a nice steak with the fam. Now i need to start whatching my calorie intake as i need to make sure I don;t put on too much weight. Tonight will be my first long drive in a car by myself. i will be driving for 2 hours to Chicago and then 2 hours back. I have got used to my commute already and it really does not bother me, but one of my things to do was to smoke a little more on long trips. i some how have associated this with pleasure. I need to get over that quick so tonight should be a good time for getting the first one as a non-smoker out of the way. Thanks again all...
