Just checking in from Disney World is sunny Orlando! It's hot and humid and fun and exciting here. My daughter, who is 25, drug me all over the place yesterday. She went home today and hubby is in a conference, so I did Epcot this morning at a leisurly pace, we'll go back when he is finished this afternoon. Having a wonderful time! Oh and did I mention today is day 11 of my quit? I've even managed to walk past the smokers and just keep going. Although that smell was both attractive and disgusting, I find that even though I'm still having some thoughts about smoking, they are easy to distract myself from and they go away quickly. So still going strong on the new non-smoking me! Orlando will be beautiful this time of year; what fun! I'm going to disneyworld! Oh yes, I remember doing what ever it took to be able to have a fix in airports; go BACK thru security, down escalators, out the doors, across the street, puff, puff, puff, huff, huff, huff. Insane, isn't it? Traveling can be stressful, so be on guard for stress related triggers, also those, "I want to relax cigarettes". Relaxing without cigs, now that is true relaxing. We can actually focus on settling down from the day, close our eyes, listen to the outdoors or some music; instead of kidding ourselves into believing that inhaling poisonous gases is relaxing. Insane again! Oh, have so much fun. It will be a milestone; your first smoke free trip. new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 336 Amount Saved: $70.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 22 Mins: 48 Seconds: 14

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going out of town tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn! Going to Orlando for a conference for my husband and a visit with my daughter. I'm actually excited about not having to worry about when I'll get my next smoke in the airports!!!! This is going to be a fantastic trip. If hubby's laptop is connecting to the internet in any type of reasonable time I'll try to check in, otherwise I'll see you on the 13th.
