I love this site I have been around for awhile I had tried to quit two years ago. And I made it about six months cold turkey. I don't know why but I got away from the support this site has around the 100 day mark.. Oh not that I want a pity party I was trying to give praise to Chantrix but now I found out I get to go to Iraq this fall. So that should help the quit I can't stand smoking in that kinda heat.. Maybe I will be able to sweat some of this darned weight off.. Thanks again for the kind words. Wowee sotaman! That's a lot of stress that you are not smoking to get through. Congratulations! I, too, was in the AF years ago, so I understand. I can't give you any suggestions about your personal life except to "go with your heart". However, as for the Chantix/no smoking part... you are doing a great job and don't look back. Get over this bump and the next one will be just a bit smaller. Read and post, read and post. You can do this! Well today is my first smoke free day of the rest of my life... And what a test I am taking the Chantrix and wow there must be something to it. I am getting to leave home for work on Sunday. First let me say I am in the Air Force so now some may know how it works. But my boss says you gotta do this and that before you leave. I said you know I am shooting tommorow annual thing for work. He said ya. But it still has to be done. I just wanted to scream why have you been sitting on this so long. So anyway I am knocking the stuff out and my ex wife starts up with my again. About how she made a mistake and thinks she wants to get back together. So thats stressing me out because I have been seeing someone else. And I feel like I am cheating and I can't figure out on who. Man what a mess. But the good news is I haven't had much want or any need for a smoke. What an amazing tool to quit. Trust me I dont think I could be anymore stressed right now.
