Benefits You have Experienced so Far
Several people that I work with, both smokers and non smokers alike have asked me if I feel better physically since I quit smoking. My answer to them was yes. I have more endurance when I hike, slight cough that I had gone, breathe deeper, resting heart rate down from 85 to 65 beats per minute. They neglected to ask if I felt better mentally that answer is also yes. I thought smoking was my side-kick, the one that helped me solve problems, incite creativity, sooth my emotions, and promote general euphoria. These things are done just as well and perhaps better and faster since I dont have to deal with ash trays, smoke in my eyes, cigarette rolling onto the desk, carpet, bed or car seat. That nicodemon certainly had me fooled for decades.
What are the benefits that you have experienced so far and what future benefits to you expect to see?
