Hojohnjo, Welcome to the SSC and thanks for sharing your story! You will be facing some emotional stressors in the weeks to come so it may be helpful to you to start developping some new coping strategies and finding new outlets for your emotions. Some members have found comfort in talking to friends, keeping a journal or getting active. Working through the online quit program may also be helpful to you as it will help you plan for such triggers. Danielle ____________________ The SSC Support Team

Hi Hojohnjo! Glad to see you here. 50 days is wonderful, keep up the good work. You've got lots of stressors right now, but just keep your quit up front and you'll make it through. Hojohnjo, at 50 days... you've already come a long way. No one gets that far into this by accident. Keep doing what you're doing, and we'll be here to support you! You have to do the tough part, but we're going to do everything we can to let you know that you're not alone. Hi there "John"? Just remember to take it one day at a time. Be sure to be kind to yourself and ALWAYS remind yourself the reasons why you quit. Did you do the quit program to your left? and don't forget about the im the ssc has. lolo :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/24/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 40 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 800 Amount Saved: $180.00 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 6 Mins: 55 Seconds: 16

Welcome to the SSC, we are glad you finally joined us officially! you will have quite a few changes to go through, major life changes. I assume you are in the military. I didn't realize that deployments lasted 2 years, I thought it was months at a time. I am sorry to hear about your family, and the divorce you are going through. It is rough to go through all of those changes. Good luck, Melissa My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 42 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,680 Amount Saved: $336.00 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 22 Mins: 10 Seconds: 27
