lindak, Every body is different! Take the time to talk to your doctor or a nutritionist to come up with a plan that is right for you. It does take time and you are on the right path, continue to push forward :) Josie, Support Specialist

[color=Purple]Hi lindak.. From what I've read our metabolism will even out eventually. From what you've written you are doing all the right things and I think that everyone is different re their metabolism.. just as each person has a unique quit. That being said, perhaps just go along with what you've been doing and in the next few months or so you'll see the results. Focus on your quit and keep moving as you are doing and I'm sure it will all work out soon. Also, please don't get too down on yourself re the weight. Be patient, be strong and stay quit ! Ok Im am just at the 5 month line! And I am getting sick of this up and down ! Before quitting I had lost 2 & 1/2 stone (35lb) Done around 4 hours excercise. I managed to keep to weight of without much effort! I have increased my excercise to 8 hours per week (I actaully cant do anymore excercise)and still cant really have any treats without gaining. I know for myself if i cant have a treat it is so hard to keep focused it makes it all so boring! I went on hols for 4 days and I cant believe I put on 6lb! I just fell really diflated! Can anyone tell me does your metabolism ever go back to the way it was ?? Please someone give me some hope , as mine if fading fast! Im not going to give up my quit though, there is no way !
