Hi All,
Well, I am embarking on my journey soon. My husband was diagnosed with high cholesterol and very high triglycerides yesterday and is taking steps to improve these readings - which includes quitting smoking. He got a prescription for Zyban and started taking it today....with a quit date of June 4th. I am going to quit along with him because a.) I want him to know and see that I support him and b.)It's a good thing for our entire family. I can't take Zyban - have tried in the past, but it mucked up my blood pressure and I almost passed out while driving to work one morning. This is the first time that I have joined a support group, and I am looking forward to having a resource to go to when I am "jonesing" for my fix.
