Hi Fellow March Mellows, What a party! Love it! So glad to go by St Thomas. Isn't it beautiful? I'm going out to the deck & get a tan. See you at the Awards ceremony, I hear all members are receiving awards for all their Efforts for Quitting Smoking. I'm ready to hula, I'm gonna go find the grass skirts. :)

"This post is for anyone who is thinking about starting back" by joe cool.
Super brief summary: A young man of 21 dies from lung cancer leaving a grieving widow and unborn son. This one is not for the faint of heart.

lol..no wonder i missed the other thread! I got this one confused with that one! And I thought the spaciness was over.
Coasting is a great thing to do this weekend imo
I would vote for some eastern Caribbean islands until the hurricane season gets in full swing, then I'd vote for Mexico, then maybe down to the Panama Canal? And you know where that can lead....
You're doing a wonderful job, Capn Tom and First Mate Lainey

I went and did it, the navigation unit is down (it was running on windows, go figure). It may take a day or so to get it going again. Until then we're coasting.

Thank you First Mate Lainey. While you attend to the more important guest business, I need to resolve some issues with the navigational computer. Everytime we enter Margaritaville the system plots a course for Veracruz, Mexico; the oldest port city in the Americas. And did you know there are 700 islands in the Bahamas? There's no problem with St. Thomas, the system found that easily. Kokomo is a real problem. Did you know that Kokomo is very small and privately owned? It's a small island in Montego Bay, Jamiaca. We can dock in Jamaica and take a boat to Kokomo after making the necessary arrangements with the Sandal Resort Company that owns Kokomo.
So far we have one good course ahead of us, St. Thomas in the Carribean. Do we want to plot additional courses for Veracruz and Jamaica? And how about the Bahamas; any one in particular? How about Cat Island? We seem to have a few cat lovers on board, though I don't know much about Cat Island yet.

Hi Tom, I'd be happy to be the First Mate. (I may need to do some research though, being the lil' prairie girl that I am I have not been on a cruise ship.) I shall do my best Captain!
Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves so far, Captain, although I think a few may have gone ashore to enjoy the weekend. Noticed several empty cabins after dinner!
:)
