Thank you everyone for joining us. I'm sure you will have a great time. I'll bet many of you have done this before, but for those of you that haven't taken a cruise with us it's really very simple. We'll need to see proof that you are who we hope you are then you can put your ID and all your money away for the rest of the trip. We'll give you your own personalized SSC Mellow Cruises Boarding Card that you'll use to access certain areas of the ship and to purchase anything you want. The only "hitch" is you can't take anything off the ship that you didn't bring on board (a tan being the only possible exception). The nice thing about this is you don't gain a pound on this cruise, eat what you want. The pounds stay on board too. Lainey, we all would be very happy if you would accept the First Mate position. Will you? When you have your boarding card in hand please make your way to the ship via the gang plank. You will need to swip your card at the entrance. Once on board, if you wish, make your way to your suite and drop off your bags and things. This is typically where our guest go off and explore the ship. Please do and for those of you that want to add a little game to the exploration here is a treasure hunt list of things to find and puzzles to solve. 1. Find the ole English Pub. What's it called? Look around a describe what you see. 2. There's a small tiki style hut next to a swimming pool. They are giving away free treats to anyone who is on the treasure hunt. What did you get? 3. There are five recent movie releases playing in the IMAX theater during the cruise. What night are they not showing a single film and why? 4. Among the shops and specialty resturaunts is an art gallery. They will auction off several items for your enjoyment on the cruise. Describe some of the items up for auction. 5. Find the health and beauty spa. Describe some of the services they provide. Have fun with the treasure hunt and we'll see you in the dining room tonight. Ooh, this sounds like a lot of fun! Just want to clear something up - the original "Magic Ship" wasn't a 50 day cruise. It was a bunch of (mostly) newbie quitters who were off on a magical trip to the "Land of Quit". So, I'm sure LadyCigEvictor will be happy to give the first mate job on this MM Cruise to you, Lainey. (But, I hope she knows that she's always welcome to come on board to hang out and party with us!) I like the Kokomo port as our (first) destination. I just saw the supply list and we're going to be eating good on this cruise. If you like lobster you're going to like at least two of the meals. Death by chocolate, death by gum drops, you name it. And I had no idea there were that many kinds of liquor. The gym will be open 24/7 for those of us that are trying to keep the weight under control. We're getting calls from agents of entertainers wanting to book this cruise. I haven't seen a list yet, but I'm sure it's coming soon. The ship's quarters have all been upgraded to suites. I've been told that this used to be a smoking ship. I've toured every deck and there's not a hint of tobacco smell anywhere you go. I wonder how they got the smell out of everything, especially in the casino. The ballroom is reserved for the SSC Academy Awards banquet. Everyone who is anyone in the SSC will be there. We have a list of nominees that reads like a list of constellations. Bring your autograph book; this is sure to be an opportunity of a lifetime. I hope you packed your formal gown or a tux. We're still logging destinations into the ship's navigational computer. It's till saying, "Thank you sir may I have another" so we haven't filled it up yet; there's room for more. After you board and get to your suites, you'll find a fruit basket there compliments of the SSC and March Mellow Cruiselines. You'll also find a schedule of a few events we sincerely hope you will attend; otherwise, the ship and the finest crew in the industry are here to serve you.
