It's amazing what rewards you get!!!
This morning I took my daughter and son to the bus stop. Nothing unusual here other than on of my friends was having a smoke (she doesn't usually smoke here). I have actually shut myself off from smokers, this quit, so this was the first time, I was around a smoker. Seeing her smoke, the first thought was: She's smoking!! The second was: I can bum off her, she won't mind!! I forced myself to just keep talking to her.
It wasn't till 10 minutes later, that my son and myself got into the car, that I realised. I'd passed a major test and I must have been studying for it, because it wasn't even that hard. I have Officially Quit. I'm not going to go sit back, around the smokers and test myself just yet and other than at home, I'm not drinking for the next 6 months, but I can pass by an oppurtunity to smoke.
Sorry, I know I'm excited here, but, it wasn't until I got in the car I realised: once I'd had those origanal thoughts, I didn't think anything more of it, that was so nice.
