Radar, Welcome to the SSC! Please take the time to work through the online quit program. It is a great ressource that will give you strategies to help you crush those evening slips. For instance: changing your routine or a great distraction. Irritability is common among new quitters. It is temporary and will pass. You may benefit from beginning to adding a relaxation strategy to your daily routine or journalling. Keep us posted. Danielle _______________________ The SSC Support Team

Hi Radar, Bobbi here, welcome to the board! I know you will love it here I sure do and without all these special people it would have been much harder then it has been. my quit was 2/27/07 am also on the patches, tomorrow I step down to the 7 mg. for the two weeks, I have been wearing mine 24/7 and sure has helped, the thought of going off them for good is sure scarey but so was when I went down from 21 to 14 and I still alive and kicking. this is the best journey I have ever been on! We are all here to help when we can, stay close. hugs and prayers, Bobbi My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/27/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 56 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,680 Amount Saved: $140.00 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 4 Mins: 51 Seconds: 54

Hi All I have been off the ciggies for a few weeks now and am using patches. They have been really helpful during the day but I have a few relapses at night . To be honest when having a drink.I know what your thinking, don't drink.Well as of tonight I intend to do just that.I feel positive about quitting and thought I may benefit from joining in on this forum. A bit of backup as my husband is really testing my patience at the moment. Hoping to chat.
