Hiya to one and all, Bear with a sore head, aka DavisCup still here, and the sore head is definately a little easier today, still 'bunged up' and methane powered (but hey ho at least it's the weekend and a bank holiday here in the UK so a nice long one). Thanks Canadian bear for your wise words, unfortunately my Mum is married otherwise never know a toyboy might have been right up her street - shame+++ And re. the extra veggies and fruit, don't think I could have a much more fruity/veggie diet as it is (breakfast: cereal/fruit or porridge / mid-morning: banana / lunch: soup, yoghurt, 2-3 types of fruit (grapes, apple, pear, etc) / mid-afternoon: apple / dinner: meat, a few potatoes and 1 other veg followed by melon) - anymore and I'll look like fruit - and also already make sure I drink plenty of water, etc. This type of food stuff is my normal diet as well - but like you said if it's just my insides sorting themselves out after they've been poisoned for 20 years sure another few days of this bloated and yucky feeling is the least of it. Hey Dee - glad your still there and sticking to Monday start. Go on girl you can do it - if I can and all these other really great folk know you can too. Anyway folks cravings not too bad today (got a few munchies but didn't let them get the better of me) - and I'm back into my garden now - sowing another row of carrot and beetroot, and gotta cover the strawberry patch with some net to keep the little birdies off - them there fruit are gonna be all mine (yum yum). Then I off to my little tennis club to have a game or two (Saturday is social day / Monday's match night - watch out tennis ball if I have a bad day cos I might just take it out on you). To other fellow new clean air breathers and those soon to join the happy crew have a great day and speak to you again xxxxxxxxxx My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 12 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 240 Amount Saved: 60.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 2 Mins: 48 Seconds: 45

Daviscup, Your doing fantastic!! My quit date is the 28th (Monday) and I'll have to say I'm getting a little anxious and concerned about how moody I will be. I've already warned my husband, I just hope it doesn't get too bad. I'm going out this weekend and load up on some low calorie snacks and things to keep me busy. No one else smokes at my place so I won't be tempted by seeing them lay around. Keep up the good work and I'll be joining you Monday. We can do this!!! Naughty Girl Davis stealing from poor old Mum .Have you no shame. See the results of your wayward deeds. ;p Your body is going through a period of adjustment right now so constipation, gas, and drowsyness are all part of the process. It won,t last to long.Load your diet up with lots of fruits and veggies their good for you and will help with the constipation and gas. Tell your Mum there,s a nice old Canadian Bear that would be more than happy to teach her how to quit smoking. Cheers. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 66 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,188 Amount Saved: $660.00 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 4 Mins: 46 Seconds: 7
