Kayla....this post made me laugh and cry!
I am so glad you pulled through smoke free. Tutti, what a beautiful son you have! I have five, and the oldest two have reached the point of Tutti's son---thank goodness---I really don't worry about the youngest daughter, the youngest son (17) has had a few scrapes, bumps and bruises, but I think he will eventually 'get it'. My nineteen year old has been trying to find her way since she was 14 and may take a lot longer and has caused us sooooooo much heartache and turmoil.
It's not easy raising kids, but I do know that even if they get lost along the way, almost all return to the lifestyles they were raised with.
So, by quitting you are setting such a good example for her and no, you are not too strict. Today she will scream 'I hate you' for being so mean, but in ten, twenty years she will be saying 'thank you' for caring.
