Hey Linus,
Wow, congratulations on your awesome two years, and 14,500 cigarettes not smoked. How proud you must be....

Today marks 2 years for me! I don't post, but I do read all the great advice. I want to thank Rusty and Ladybug. They quit about the same time I did and I have enjoyed reading their advice ever since.
For those who just quit and those trying to quit, don't ever give up. I smoked for 20 years and tried to quit several times. It will happen.
I made my decision to quit when the news of anchorman Peter Jennings announced he had lung cancer in April, 2005. I grew up watching him every night and thought he was the everyday guy. It really hit me hard when I saw his pale face and heard his scratchy whimpering voice. I made my mind up then that I was not going to end up like that.
Everyone will find their own personal reason for quitting. Just
don't give up.
Linus
