Monica I am a relative newcomer to this site. I just read through your post and all the responses. You obviously have a lot of support and friends on this site and I don't think that there is anythng I could say that they haven't said. With the challenges you have faced for a long period of time I know you must tired. However, to deal with what you have dealt with for as long as you have, you must also posess an inner strength that most of us couldn't muster under the same conditions. I urge you to trust this strength and hang on to it. It will get you through your quit and more importantly through those other difficulties you have to deal with day to day. Have faith in yourself, you are stronger than you may think. Kim! I sent you a message on Yahoo months ago when I had to get rid of messenger. My pc has had major problems and then I had a loaner and now I have my pc back but it's sooooooo slow that I can't use messenger or else it slows it down even more :( I'm sure you have my email? I'll take a look at my contacts coz I'm pretty sure I have yours. I have to look after hubby right now.. but tomorrow I'll see if I have it. I know we've started, stopped and started together and I too miss our chats.. Maybe we can continue with email if that's ok with you? (((((((((hugs))))))) Monica58 My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 75 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,514 Amount Saved: $675 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 12 Mins: 18 Seconds: 17

Hey there Monica!!! Haven't seen or been able to chat with you in geesh, months? Miss you girlfriend! I read this and about cried. Never give up on yourself even if you think its too much to handle. HE doesn't give us more than we can handle and you should know that my dear friend. Wished I was there for you when you first posted this. I am unable to come here often as you know my history with cancer etc. But it wont help me to loose my quit though either. Take care you and hope to chat sometime. I miss our chats. Heck we've started and stopped and started together. We should continue to stick together. Hugs my dear friend Kim My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/10/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 77 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,943 Amount Saved: $327.25 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 20 Mins: 22 Seconds: 20

Hello jnine.. I saw your post in the "Stats Parade" asking about me.. You are very sweet :) Well I had an outpouring of support and NO I did not smoke! I had requests for my email address and have had lovely emails of more support and comfort.. I am so glad that I didn't go with my outta control thoughts and race to the store -- INSTEAD I came here and posted and I was saved by so many of you! Today I was only online for a bit and then had to take hubby for laser surgery on his right eye. It's done to remove dead blood from the back of the eye. It's all related to his extensive cardiovascular disease which is caused by his diabetes. I'm feeling about 50% better than I did when I initially posted and that's all because of my good friends here. I also had a lengthy conversation with my sister and my mom and that helped tremendously as well. Thanks ever so much for your concern about me jnine.. Your post was so sincere and from your heart. ((((((((hugs))))))))) Monica58 My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 75 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,513 Amount Saved: $675 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 12 Mins: 8 Seconds: 35
