Thank you sweetie. Yes my life is in a good place right now. At this stage, I tend to forget I quit smoking and I almost forgot I was addicted to the SSC~lol I'll try to check 'N' more often so folks won't have to track me down by blood hound or spam email. :8o: :p Look at you at 200 days. I'm so proud! I remember when you quit, it seems like yesterday in some ways. Cheers to the future Christine! :) All the best~ 2 My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/20/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 418 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,197 Amount Saved: $2090 Life Gained: Days: 39 Hrs: 16 Mins: 14 Seconds: 43

Hi Cobenfan~ good post girl :) A member named kitty once said: This journey really is all about harnessing not willpower, but the power of your inner self. Dig down deep and you will find it. Preparation was helpful to me. Once I discovered my 'inner weaknesses to smoke' I was prepared for them. Great post Cobenfan! I really like the send it upstairs for review. Just about anything could make me blow my quit. When I first quit I was afraid I couldn't do it and would blow it. Now that I know I CAN be quit, there are times I'm afraid that I WON'T stay quit. I am a very emotional person and with the challenges that come my way it is all I can do to make it on some days. I often long for the escape smoking gave me however, I have too much knowledge and know now that it is just that - an escape. Dealing with life without a crutch isn't always easy but neither was smoking. I keep telling myself (yes, even today) that as long as I don't light that next cigarette, I've got it made. I always protect my quit and hope that I continue to do so with as much success as I have had thus far. Thanks for a great post. Coben, Thanks for this wonderful post! Your determination and drive is outstanding and we can all learn from one another :) What are your reasons for staying quit? Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC support Team.
