rhona,, it's a great idea to watch a DVD with your little one -- But you may also consider taking the little one out for a walk! The fresh air and the walking will do you a world of good :) I walk everyday as often as possible. It's a great stress reliever plus it's a great cardio work out ! Rhona - Glad to hear you're feeling better! I have had some very similar days along the way - it can be really really tough. When people say "it get's better...it get's easier" - it helps but it doesn't totally sink in/convince us. But, I'm going to say it anyway - it truly does ease up and get better! Now be careful - don't you go self-sabotaging your quit - too much of watching the Wiggles could drive anyone to smoke! ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/24/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 33 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,170 Amount Saved: $214.5 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 19 Mins: 29 Seconds: 49

The emotions were the worse part of quitting for me. Hang in there. Keep your chin up. Cry when you need to and smile when you can. It will all pass. Whatever you do just don't smoke. Rhona, If quitting smoking was easy we would not have our online support group. We thank you for posting your concerns. I totally agree with you, you are so angry, irritable and down right friggin mad! Your body is not liking the change you have made, therefore, it is playing games on you. As for your little boy, yes, get out those Wiggles DVD'a and get silly. If you feel irritable with your little one leave the room, take a big breath and then return. Jump back on the site later on today. If your little one naps then go ahead and do the same! Hang in there and stay strong :). Congrats on quitting! Rhona, like you i felt exactly the same i done nothing but cry be angry took it out on my husband and son the craveings felt so bad some days as if they were lasting all day long, keep fighting it will pass i promise you it will i have less tears now and less cravings.I smoked for 23yrs and i never thought i had the will power to do this but ive got it from somewhere the thing that keeps me going is after the first week i got to two weeks then 3 now about to get to 4weeks and i know if i started smokeing again i would have to start all over again and i do not want to go through the first few weeks again. be strong and keep fighting :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 26 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 524 Amount Saved: 132.6 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 8 Mins: 51 Seconds: 32
