Lou P Lou,
I'm really happy for you. I'm a week in to my quit with Chantix and besides some psychological/mental craves, the worst being 5-6 out of 10 and of short duration and tons of random thoughts about smoking (no surprise there, I did it 20 times a day), I'm happy and doing great. In other words, this quit has NOT been hell. It's been a bit hard here and there. But the overwhelming sense of relief I feel that I'm no longer poisoning/killing myself, the sense of accomplishment and personal power I have, the happiness I'm giving to my wife, daughter and all those that care about me, I don't stink anymore, I've discarded a compulsion, an addiction, it's all really priceless!
When you see this through, you'll remember April 18, 2007 as one of the best, most important days of your life.
Welcome To Freedom,
Mike
