Ok.. just got back from lunch and a walk at the mall.
Feeling better, just very very tired now. This morning's 'episode' really knocked me out. I'm just going to make myself a light dinner and go to bed early. I have a dr's appt. tomorrow and I have much to discuss with him. After the appt. I'm having dinner with another friend.
Must keep busy, but at the same time finding the things which make me happy too !
Thanks again everyone.. couldn't have done it without you :) Have a super rest of your day and evening.

I didn't cry....Not me.....I was a rock. NOT!!!!
I had some days there where actually, I felt like a serial killer on a crying jag. It does pass.
Jean, I know you want the nicotine out of your system but please, do go through the program with your patches. I don't know how they work but I'm sure they're set up to step down in a particular way. The nicotine will be out of your system soon enough. The main thing is, YOUR SMOKE FREE!! Yee Hah!!
Check back in and let us know how you feel after your walk. Okay? Look at your stats!! You're doing so great!!
Hugs,
Tutti

Dear iwanttobefree, Changing and Dutch...
Thank you EVER soooooo much for your words of wisdom and support !
Phil, M is here now... she's smiling :) (and her pc is a piece of...lol.. in other words not being a good boy at all !)
It was a HUGE MISTAKE stepping down so early and I've learned my lesson.
I am going to follow the directions because I really don't want to go through that again !
Just got back from my walk and now we're headed out to the mall and go for lunch :)
There's one thing to be said from all of this.. at least now I know that there will be crying in my future and I won't get so panicked over it. I will just let it flow.
Thanks again and have a great day :)

Jean -
I want to echo what everyone else has said - what you are experiencing is absolutely normal! When I was around 3 weeks into my quit, I went through this phase where I felt so utterly deeply sad - I felt like bursting out in tears constantly (and I'm NOT a cryer!). It was such a heavy and lonely feeling. But, it passed after a few days and has not returned! So, hang in there! I'm glad Monica is around to walk & talk with you!
Keep us posted on how you're doing!
Sending lots of loving thoughts your way!
