Sparky, You are doing so good. You got it..... just go with the flow....roll with the punches!! But..but...but.. as for those Hershey sticks.... IT WOULD NEVER WORK HERE. Your talking about a gal who can eat oreo cookies like M&M's. ....and who has an apa-stat that hasn't worked in years. I would wolf down that box of 9 Hershey sticks before I finshed working the TV remote. lOL LOL LOL (laughing) Mercy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 102 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,058 Amount Saved: $455.94 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 8 Mins: 15 Seconds: 54

Sparky, Glad you're feeling better. A nap may not be a good idea but you might benefit from going to bed a little early tonight. Kudos on keeping up with your rewards and on day 4! Danielle _______________________ The SSC Support Team

Gonna, LOL :p Thanks for the tip, but I got on the treadmill and feel much better. Sour lemons, my husband likes those :gasp:, gives me the shivers just thinking about it. Now we know what the smerk is all about. Windy I hope you like them and yes hide them from you know who and Gonna. I bought the dark chocolate, they smell just like chocolate chips :) Can't tell how much it means to me back. Thanks everyone ;) Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 37 Amount Saved: $9 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 12 Mins: 3 Seconds: 50

Actually, I bought some of those a couple of weeks ago and ate the whole box on the ride home  Right now I am on a citrus kick. Oranges and lemons. I slice the lemons into 8 sections, douse them in salt and bite! My co-workers say it is a painful sight to see me eat them..... :gasp: If you have a headset, do a search of relaxation music, then you can listen to some relaxing music for a few minutes and just chill. That seems to serve as a pick-me-up when I'm tired..... Hi Sparky Hang in there, this phase will pass and you will start to feel better. In the mean time its not bad to try and take power naps, that helped me. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 63 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,591 Amount Saved: $315 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 17 Mins: 44 Seconds: 29

Sparky - it is very normal to be tired at this point. Your body is healing and the amount of oxygen you are taking in is increasing... net result, you feel more tired. Even if you don't want to nap, take it easy - read a book, take a bath, sit and watch a movie, you get the idea. Nurture yourself! Cigarettes Not Smoked

16 years ago 0 3307 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Working on day four and all I want to do is sleep. Of course if I sleep now I will be awake all night  I know this is part of the process and I will just go with the flow. Oh, my what our bodies go though when we quit. Wanted to share a new little reward I found for myself. They are called Hershey Sticks. There are 9 in a box and only 60 calories each. So if I behave during the day I can have one at night :eg: Windy and Gonna you will loves these things. Only one, not the whole box.
