Escaping the prison

17 years ago 0 220 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi everyone, i have done alot of reading and learning about this horrible addiction. This word ESCAPE has really stuck with me, I have imagined myself in a 6'x 6' cell doing anything and everything to escape, this is how i see my QUIT, i will do anything in my power to ESCAPE from this PRISON. Only i have the key, i only have to escape once then i am FREE...the second stage is asimilating myself back into society as a NON SMOKER, a learning process, i treat my craves for what they are my brain having a tizzy fit just like a spoiled child because it wants its fix. Every day added to my meter is a day closer to FREEDOM...all the best jeanigirl My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 59 Amount Saved: $19 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 11 Mins: 48 Seconds: 49

Great analogy jeanigirl! It's true - smoking is a self-imposed, stinky, prison. It's such a great attitude that will get you through to other side. ESCAPE is a very good word, Jeangirl! There are so many people who will never escape, and that too is a tragedy. Do what you do, stay faithful and keep QUIT.
