Greg, I am soo, so sorry for your loss. You must miss her so much and at the same time be so angry at the addiction that took her away. You seem quiet as you don't post very much but please feel free to seek comfort here and post as much as you want. We are here for you during this difficult process. And remember, hearing from you will only help to strengthen others' resolve. Praying for your strength. Greg, You have my sympathy on the passing of your mother. It's never easy to lose a parent, even though we all know that day will come. To smoke (or not to smoke) is a decision we all make. I hope I have quit in time that my children will never say "if only she hadn't smoked, she might still be here". You can help keep her memory alive by sharing your wisdom with all of us. Congratulations on your quit...I can tell that it's forever! My Mom passed away Feb 11, 2007 @ age 74. They would take this clear plastic wand and go down her throat to literally vacuum the sludge out of her lungs. (go to the ICU unit at your local hospital and ask to see this device.) I'm no longer worried about these insignificant withdrawal syptoms I have from time to time because the bottom line is I AM a non-smoker now. We buried Mom on Valentine's Day. Ironic that the symbol for V-Day is a heart because she died of conjestive heart failure. God Bless Her and God Bless Us All.
