It is, oh, so nice here today. Just a little bit of a breeze, not that cold bitting chill there has been in the air, and the sun is out and shinning bright....well, bight enough anyway. Tutti - Nope, not really depressed. Just feeling tired, I suppose. I dunno. Looking forward to being done with the trials and tribulations of quitting. Glad to hear you have pulled out of your funk. It sucks to be feeling that way, I know! I hope evryone is holding on. It's cold, it's raining cats and dogs (and a few elephants and giraffes) and not expected to stop until Wednesday! I should be in bed with the covers pulled completely over my head, drowning my sorrows, giving into a deep depression and swearing not to come out until Spring finally arrives. :( But guess what? I am not depressed, I have no sorrows to drown, I am not sleepy, and I have maintained this quit for 60 days! It is sunny and 80 in my mind and I am on a lake in my boat catching bubba's all day long (ok, now you know that it's only in my mind!) It's a beautiful day not to be smoking! :) Stay strong! G'morning, all. Just checking in, getting ready for another wonderful smoke-free day, and making sure our thread is at the top of the hit list... Now it's starting to be fun again. HA HA HA HA!! Whynot, I know you know that Phfft sound all too well, huh? LOL Are you feeling blue? If so, we're right here together and I just snapped out of a depressed state today. It's still here just a wee bit but nothing like it's been for the last several days. I literally had to force myself to drive into town this morning for 3 hours. Once I made myself active and accomplished a bunch of things I'd been putting off, I felt so much better. Let me know how you're feeling, okay? I think we hit that 30 day slump a little early so we may do the same thing with the 60 day slump. <---------Phfft!! For me right now, it's not so much a crave as it is an annoying itch in the middle of my back that I can't reach...aggravating and annoying, but not, at the moment, life threatening. No smoking this weekend for me. Even if I wanted to smoke, which I don`t, I don`t think I could handle the let down. So there, Tutti, phftt... You are no longer alone over here :) Feel better now My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 58 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,471 Amount Saved: $478.5 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 4 Mins: 32 Seconds: 50

Holy cow, aren't any of us Februarians sleeping? Criminy, I thought it was just me. BTW, one thing I found that helps is a ton of melatonin. Since the nic used to mess with our serotonin systems, we probably don't know when the heck we're supposed to be making it anymore. See you all bright and early tomorrow, I guess. Nurse, It's no wonder your frustrated. You've been working really hard to keep your quit and your husband isn't. He did exactly what you're fighting with all your might not to do. Here's the thing, your quits must be separate. You quit for yourself and he quit for himself and only he can make his quit go the distance. Keep the focus on yourself and your quit. Keep leading by example and hopefully he'll follow your lead. Danielle ____________________ The SSC Support Team

Oh yea, I'm checking in for the day and feel somewhat better than I did yesterday. The cravings are still there but not as strong. Since Nurse29 woke me up, I think I'll get busy before those cravings have a chance to build up a good head of steam. The A-holes!! Okay, lets all make a pact that we will STAY SMOKE FREE this weekend. I pledge not to smoke all weekend long.
