There was no one more scared than me to put down those cigarettes. I also used Chantix and found it to help. Don't be scared you can do it. One day, hour or minute at a time. :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 29 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 589 Amount Saved: $188.5 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 2 Mins: 23 Seconds: 48

Way to go scaredycat-no-more. You are going to do fine. Just take things one minute, one hour, one day at a time. I am using Chantix as well and it has been very helpful but you have to stay vigilant and be prepared to cope with those challenges when they hit you. I know you can do it so stay strong! I am a scaredycat-no-more. I haven't had a cigarette since 10 last night. I have been up for 4-1/2 hours and am doing great. (Thanks to Chantix and you wonderful people.) I am feeling really empowered this morning. I CAN do this! Thanks Casey. If there is anything I'd like to get out of my body, it's carbon monoxide! That helps, just knowing my "Brain Fog" is a symtom of carbon monoxide withdrawl. I can remind myself of that whenever I get frustrated with it. Glad it only lasts a few weeks! Thanks! Make sure you get plenty of sleep at night. In fact, sleep whenever you can. The cravings are very exhausting. I even started back on a good multi-vitamin for Women and that really helped me out a lot. Keep drinking a lot of water too so that your system will get flushed out real quick. Hang in there, girl. Take it one day at a time. I know the fog is hard to deal with but it won't last much longer.
