Hey Donna sorry about your anxiety. I have been out of town for the last couple of days. I had the same problem at work. Something triggeged the attack. Just like mine. Have you been under a lot of stress lately? Anxiety attacks tend to come in groups. Its like awarning that something is wrong .Anxiety is a phsical problem i no exactly how you feel. some people say its a bad habit but I do not beleive that. Their are are physical symptoms present. Did something happen at home or or work? You need to figure out what set the attack off discover the monster so to speak. Once you discover the cause the anxiety attacks will disappear.

Callie a great suggestion, another option is to imagine a stop sign everytime you begin to feel anxious. Don't allow the anxiety to creep in even a little. If it does don't be afraid of it. I know that's easier said than done, but it really won't hurt you and when you allow it to control you, eventually you will place yourself in this little box and feel like you're not able to do anything. When we worry and have anxiety it makes us feel like we are in control, but by not letting go of it we are placing ourselves above God who is the master planner. Ultimately no matter how much we worry, we don't have control at all. When we worry and have anxiety it creates a mental picture that our brain responds to as if it were real. You have a choice to worry or not, anxiety happens because we are thinking about things we don't want to happen. Thoughts are not facts, not unless you allow them to become real. Always picture life the way you want it to be, think about that and stop thinking about life in a way that scares you.

My name is Callie and I know I am much older that most of you. A widow who lives alone. But, I thought I would share this with you. On Sunday, I went to church and was feeling really good, when out of nowhere came the beginning of an axiety attack. I just looked straight ahead and said, "Look, I am here in the Lord's house and I don't have time for you." You would be as surprised as I was that the attack susided. Since then, I when I feel one coming, I try by saying, "I don;t have time for you." It dosen't always work, but it gives me a feeling that I have some control over my life.
