Need2quit, Welcome to the SSC and congratulations on quitting! Any particular area you're struggling with? Maybe we can help? You may also benefit from reading through our online quit program and our forums. Both are great ressources of quitting information! Keep us posted. Welcome Need2quit. You are like a lot of us. I know I had never posted on a site before SSC. I really did not even know they existed. This site has made all the difference in the world with my quit. You can find help anytime. Just yell and someone will be there to support you. You can also read a lot of threads for ideas on ways to make your quit easier and more fun. Yes I said fun. Someone posts something everyday that makes me smile. Most of us here also are firm believers in a positive attitude. If you can see it, then you can do it. Just know right now you are in what we call h-ll week. Next week will be heck week. As you see it gets better everyday. Once again, welcome. You are now a non-smoker. Hello all. I've never written on a forum like this and I'm pretty new at it. I quit smoking a few days ago and am having a bit of trouble, but I'm hanging in there! My husband, on the other hand, keeps making excuses. I don't know, maybe he's scared.....I'm pretty surprised at his behavior though. I've smoked for about 16 years now, and so far it's not too bad. I look forward to saving money, who doesn't, and am simply hoping to improve my health! Good luck to everyone.
