Those are the magic words. DO NOT ENTERTAIN THE THOUGHTS...AT ALL. MOVE ON AND THINK OF SOMETHING ELSE. BOTTOM LINE...DISPITE WHAT THE ADDICTION WANTS YOU TO BELIEVE.... "YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR SITUATION!" Celebration of our Courage, Power and our Effectiveness. Sometimes it seems that tomorrow will never come, we can fall victim; yet tomorrow does comes. Sometimes the quit is touch and go; however we continue to work at it and watch our self esteem grow. Each day we put behind us is a celebration of our courage, power and our effectiveness. Real determination, staying out of harms way, using distractions, not allowing ourselves to entertain the thoughts - when they pop in we push them out by just plainly saying No, not now, thank you for asking. And how about the journey, the wonderful people that we meet here, delightful and encouraging, people with purpose and poise. It is our common goal that brings us together, sharing our experiences, extending our hands and finding comradery. I wish all of you the utmost success. When you have made up your mind and stick to it you will soon be entertaining thoughts other than smoking. Preserve your quit, taste and feel the freedom.
