Hey driver I'm not having a good day so I'll keep it short, I'm using the patch at 21mg and tomorrow I go to 14mg. Don't wear it for about 2 hours before going to bed or it'll give you weird dreams or keep you up all night. I had headaches for the first few days and it did go away.I really wish I still had my Harley cause I could use a long hard ride right now to clear the mind!! Good thing I'm not in a rig right now or it would be road rage. I just put up a post and going for a walk I'll catch up later if I don't get in trouble. Bear, The headaches may not have come from the patches but from the changes in blood flow and increase stress as a result of your quit. Sorry to hear you had such a rough day, maybe taking the time to do something nice for yourself would make you feel better? I would also like to remind all members that cutting patches is not recommended. Keep persevering! Danielle ____________________ The SSC Support Team

Bear Last time I tried the patch I did alright for a few days, and was wearing it 24 hrs a day. Then one night I woke up REALLY ill....and it tasted like nicotine....I've always thoguht it was nicotine poisoning. Another friend of mine used to cut the patches in half as she progressed through her quit. Just some things to think about -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 385 Amount Saved: $61.2 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 7 Mins: 48 Seconds: 33

You know full well you don't need any help getting into trouble. LOL Glad your having such a great day today! Remember this feeling and carry it with you into the upcoming days. Stay strong Bear. oh...and just to let you know my opinion on the patch. It does seem most people need the full 10 weeks or whatever, but for me, I used it 2 days and have been completely free since. I told myself it wasn't working and I was better off getting all the nic out of my system. (My hubby did the same, although he made it through out of spite - If I could do it, he could it) This may not work for most people, but it IS possible. Just please make sure you do whats best for you, and above all, DON'T SMOKE!
