I meant to say, "If Phil's suggestion doesn't work". But you could be right Phil. Rubbing alcohol might sting a little.LOL Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 79 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,378 Amount Saved: $711 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 21 Mins: 53 Seconds: 29

And Phil's suggestion doesn't work, my pharmacist suggested putting some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and rubbing it over the area to remove any dirt or skin oils that might stop the patch from sticking. Try it! Kayla,I am having some trouble with mine not sticking right every now & then. I carry a spare one with me, just in case. But I do find the days they aren't stickin are the days that I get antsy and upset and headaches, so could be related. I find if I am too warm they don't stick, (so if your having hot flashes, be prepared) and if I am working hard they also want to fall off. But am trying to do the best I can with what I got....Keep the quit! :)

Kayla, If your patches won't stick try putting your hand over it for 1 full minute. This warms the adhesive and helps it stick. You can also ask your pharmacist for some medical tape if the tip above doesn't help. Danielle ____________________ The SSC Support Team

Hi Bear how are you making out with the patches? I have to tape mine on because it doesn't stay on too well. Are you still getting the headaches? I survived yesterday and didn't smoke. Instead I had too many beers at a local club and hurting today. At least I didn't do anything stupid as angry as I was yesterday. Thanks for the advise and that hot bath sounds great!!! Hey Bear! Glad to see you are still going strong! Just keep on doing what you're doing, and things will get easier. Look at how far you've come! I didn't know if I would get through the first week, let alone a whole month +. I am starting to feel like a non-smoker, finally. Keep up the good work, and by the way, the fish were NOT biting! Bear, You bet the government and tobacco companies profit - BIG time. When cigs cost over $10.00 a pack, you know somebody's making a HUGE profit. Kinda stinks, doesn't it? Sure glad I don't smoke, they're not getting another nickel out of me. This morning I,m a little angry I hope you can indulge me well I tell you why..The reasons why I started smoking have long been forgotten.Back then everbody did it because it was cool. The tobacco co. never told me it was addictive and the government did,nt give a rats ass .Today pot, cocaine, heroin.etc are all illegal but tobbaco can still be bought over the counter and the tobacco co and the "governments" profite by this highly addictive product.Kind of makes you wonder does,nt it ??? Thanks for listening and I hope everbody has a beautiful smoke free day ..
