Four days 'til the 100 mark! Thanks for the responses guys, I'm so glad I'm not the only one with a hubby that has a "conviently poor memory". One day at a time, guys, one day at a time! Jan - glad you got over that bump! MomMom - my hubby never smoked either and thinks the same as yours does! He's trying to understand, but he just doesn't get it most of the time. At least he's thrilled I've quit. - Freemom My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/29/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 19 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 240 Amount Saved: $77.52 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 20 Mins: 22 Seconds: 59

Men! Their memories can be conveniently poor. Jan, I am living with a never-smoker, who thinks "one day you just quit!" I am glad your dear hubby had enough memory left to give you a proper apology, but I guess if you flipped he had no choice? You stay on top of this quit...you are one of those I count on to lead the way. Only 5 days till you hit the beach! My hubby, bless his heart, quit smoking nearly 2 1/2 years ago. And when I ask him sometimes, did he experience this or that, he replies, "I can't remember." I don't think I could EVER forget, nor would I want to. So of course, with him not able to remember, it was no surprise that he reacted the way he did when I hit a "bump in the road" around the 90 day mark. He said, "Well, you've been quit 3 months now, you'd think it wouldn't be THAT much of a problem now." I blew. That's all I can say. He got the gist of it and I got a huge apology. Yes, its better than it was, but I'm not at the "normal" stage yet, whatever that is. So when a few months has passed, DON'T let your guard down, and DON'T let anyone tell you, you should be over it. This is a process, and having patience is HUGE. So whatever stage you're at, be patient with yourself. It only gets better!
