Lou, There is a learning curve here at the SSC. It is kind of neat to see all the things that are passed on from one quitter to another. NOPE was something I lived by in the early days, and still do! Hop on up on this quit wagon (the quitters having trouble move to the center so we can keep them from falling off) and everyone will fill you in on anything you want to know. When I first came here, I was amazed at the compasion that every one had. I still am. This is by far one of the greatest places on the Web. I'm still here after almost 22 months! Hang around. You will meet some great people here and quit smoking along the way too! Have a great weekend and remember: Every day is one day closer to never feeling the way you do now again. Kinda hard to figure out what's going on around here sometimes, and it is always advisable to ask! At 50 days you board the virtual cruise ship that takes you to Century Beach at 100 days. Make sure you board the CRUISE ship! We had a member once that got on a SPACE ship being piloted by Nick himself by mistake at 50 days. Unspeakable tortures and horrendous atrocities were inflicted on her. How's Sparky doing these days? Hiya Lou, Ask whatever you want to ask. Shoot, I just found out on my Day 50 that I was on the "ship." ha ha ha ha ha Stay close to the site here at the start of your quit so you can read a lot and post a lot. The workbook over to the left of this page really helps too. Make sure you drink lots and lots of water. It helps with the cravings and flushes your system. Hang in there and stay strong. I am new to this site and have a couple of questions about things I have read on the site.. Right now I can only think of two, I'm sure there's probably more.. LOL! I think I know what you mean when you speak of the beach.. but could someone explain to me.. An N.O.P.E what does it stand for.
