Sweeteedon, First off, I must congratulate you on 6 days! This is a wonderful accomplishment and you should be proud! When and if you will hit a rough patch is different for every quitter. In general, most quitters find the first few weeks the hardest. Start preparing now so that if you hit a rough patch, you'll be ready! Put together an emergency coping kit. Fill it with posts/quotes that inspire you, a list of your reasons for quitting, a list of distractions, a few rewards (a chocolate bar, passes for the movies, a new book...whatever works best for you.)and coping strategies (gum, a straw to suck on, a toothpick to chew on, a rubber band to snap on your wrist...again whatever works best for you.). Having an alternative in place before you enter a situation that can put you at high risk for slipping or relapse increases your chances of taking that alternative as oppose to giving in and smoking. Hope this helps. Danielle ________________________ The SSC Support Team

Hi sweeteedon - Wow - let's change your outlook :) Oftentimes if we look hard enough we find what we are looking for (or think we are looking for). We are all different and our quits are as well... Just hold on - spend as much time as possible here reading and reading some more. And post often - oh - and make sure to show your meter and reward yourself!
