The racing heart is probably just a symptom of your panic Blondie. You need to take some deep breaths in and release them slowly. As you inhale say to yourself "Calm" and as you exhale say "Down." Do this slowly and concentrate on each breath. It will help slow your heart down. I know you are scared. Make sure you go to that appt. tomorrow. Counseling really can be helpful. Are you on any medications right now? Keep posting and let us know how you are doing.

You are going to be just fine. It feels so real what you are feeling. Just try to control your breathing. After the first few app.'s with you doc your going to feel so much better. It really does help.

How long ago did your doc tell you, you were fine?
Do you think he's wrong?
Common sense, would tell you NO.
Would he tell you that if he thought you might die?
Maybe you are just getting anxious because of the physical things you mention....AND that you start counseling tomorrow? Try breathing...take some deep breaths....Is there anything you must DO right now, or can you do some things to help you relax, like a hot shower or something you usually enjoy??? :)
I need some help please! I feel so much better after people reply. My anxiety is horriable right now! I have a cold my peroid is about to start also. My heart has been racing all the time! My doctor told me that i was fine but i am still scared! My first counseling session is tommorrow. I am young but i am so worried about my heart! Even if it races all the time, nothing will happen right? I hope you can help! Thanks a lot!
