If you pat yourself on the back with both hands - it will be really difficult to smoke. I would consider adding onto your bag of coping mechanism.
Find alternative behaviors (take a short stand up or walk in place of a crave [when not in your car],drink something diffetent), use disassociations (for in your car-listen to a different radio station or a book tape or put an air freshener in your car), re-arrange furniture. Put a picture of your kids someplace close, put a picture of yourself as a child close. Do something extra-nice for someone.
In otherwords do whatever you have to do to get through this time, pull out all the shots. It will get better - I promise.
