My husband is a smoker, and actually became downright hostile when I quit. But like others here, I have a streak of stubbornness...once I make up my mind to do something, no one can stop me! We had some tough times, but things worked out and we still love each other.
And, sorry Dutch, I don't agree that smokers are mean people...we were all smokers, that's why we are here...I know that I wasn't mean. I was addicted.
Own your own quit. Protect it and make it yours!
Rusty :)
