WTG Jen, I know U will do it... Mind over matter..Myself I joined yesterday and decided my quit date was the 15th but after getting some responses and with my lung problems these wonderful people made me realise I shouldn't wait... I am now smoke free for 26 hours.. my best advice is to keep urself busy when U get the urge.. I pick up my crafts each time till it passes. I also want to thank Habitrol, for this site and the products they have for helping us quit. Way to Go Jen, I take it you are getting your plan together and using the workbook on the left side? You need to study the tools to help you learn coping skills, and read the posts here for inspiration from others You will also learn about failures and be reminded that we have all failed at one time or other, but we have to get past it. You will be a Winner! :) Have you decided to go with the Wellbutrin? It may or may not work for you but there are other things to use. Just keep reading and I'm sure you will make your own decision on how you want to quit. Post often and look at the different forums on the HOme screen auntdeb :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 40 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,031 Amount Saved: $190 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 14 Mins: 7 Seconds: 36

Hi Jen, I'm so happy to see that you have set a quit date. Jen, this is something you will never regret. So take this time to plan and get ready for you quit. Cut back and I'm sure that will help. Jen, I saw your post on another thread. I smoked 1 pk a day. Now hold on because I'm going to take your breath away!! I had smoke for 50+ years. So if I can quit, I know that you can... I had tried several times and like I told someone today I gave up a 18 months quit. So I don't feel safe until I pass that goal. Its not that I think about it that much, but it is there. Finding SSC has really helped. There is so much support here, and they are all in different stages of their quit. So anytime you need help, someone will know just what you need to hear. And yes, there is someone here 24-7, isn't that great. Stay strong and I will be watching for you....Congratulations!! :) Be blessed, Sunshine My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 399 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,797 Amount Saved: $1396.5 Life Gained: Days: 58 Hrs: 15 Mins: 26 Seconds: 51
