    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Hi all. I began my quit on the night of Dec 30th 2006. It has been a little over 2 weeks and I am feeling pretty good. I have been eating a lot of hard candies and suckers. I limit my time outside because when I smoked I only smoked outside. I am hoping soon I will be able to go outside and not think about smoking as much. I am using the 21 mg nicotine patch, I will finish those on Saturday and step down to the 14mg. I do take a multivitamin and b12 everyday. I had to take calms forte for the first week and 1/2 to help me sleep, I can't believe how much not smoking messes with your sleep pattern in the beginning. I am glad I found this site. Hi Otis, I LOVE tootsie roll pops! It is winter, so staying inside should not be as hard, I guess. What is hard is living with nicotine addiciton, always wishing that you could quit. And, NOW YOU HAVE! congratulations. Educate yourself about this addiction and know that we all are on the path to freedom together. Not one Puff ever! NOPE! Otis, Welcome to our support community and congratulations on such great success! You have more time on your hands so perhaps you can try some relaxation techniques before bed. This will ease you into sleep and start each day fresh :) Please post often and share your experiences with us :) Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
