WE HAVE MADE IT ANOTHER DAY OF BEING SMOKE FREE!! MY WIFE REALLY STRUGGLES EVERY DAY WITH NOT SMOKING SHE HAS THE CRAVINGS STILL. SHE SAYS IF I WASN'T THERE SHE BE SMOKING AGAIN. I REALLY PROUD OF HER FOR NOT SMOKING. AS FOR ME I REALLY HAVE NO CARVINGS OR DESIRES TO SMOKE. I DO FEEL LIKE A NEW PERSON. I NEVER NEW HOW BAD CIGARETTES MADE YOU SMELL UNTIL YOU QUIT SMOKING.

Hello Frank and Tami...... nice another husband & wife team are doing it together you really do need your spouse to quit along with you it just helps so much, even though you each go through your own emotions and feelings of quitting you have each other to keep you going at least thats how it is with me and my husband. I could not have done this if we hadn't decided together noway. Today is our 5th day and so far so good even the weekend which I was worried about is not so bad although I've been keeping busy and keep coming here to read and reasure myself. This is a great place to come to. Hope to hear from you again Keep up the great work. Hihihi....she let you go first on your own for the first 4 days to see how painful the withdrawels were! Don't blame her a bit! :eg: Congratulations! It's a great feeling, isn't it? I bet your house and clothes smell better as well! My hubby has been quit about 8 months....me a little less (had a wee slip---oops) I was a 3 pack a day smoker and had smoked for 34 years---all I have to show for it is COPD! Congratulations to you both for such a wise decision. And how wonderful that you have quit together! :) By golly, it HAS to be love when they are willing to give up the smokes for you!
