Sugarnose, i know exactly how you feel, it's my 17th days and i feel i want to smoke so bad but what stops me is thinking how hard it would be to start all over to go through what i've been through again i just can't imagine that, just take a deep breath and go outside for a walk that will take the deisre to smoke away, it works for me! Kaitlina ur so funny i guess she would be calling in RICH instead of sick!!!! great idea lol, oh and i love your postings ur so positive and encouraging, Thanks Vi My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/26/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 16 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 335 Amount Saved: $80 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 11 Mins: 27 Seconds: 39

This is what I think everytime I want to smoke...I think that if I take just one puff, for whatever lame reason that my pea-brain can come up with, I will be at a pack or two a day in less than a few days. At that point, I will decide to smoke the rest of my life, which should be over real soon because I will probaby die of a smoking-related heart attack or stroke in the next few years. Then I think that even if I survive the heart attack or stroke, I'll be dragging an oxygen tank around with me the rest of my miserable life. Thant's why I don't smoke. Because I'm an addict and that's where one more puff will take me. -- 2tone My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/26/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 16 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 470 Amount Saved: $88 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 18 Mins: 20 Seconds: 48

Ok, I know what you need to do.....run to the lotto store and purchase a lotto ticket...mega millions or something similar...win lotto and give notice tomorrow. That will fix everything... If that doesn't work, remember you are quitting an addiction. My emotions were on high alert the first few weeks. Little things would affect me bigger than normally. Coping with every day life and little stressors without cigs is a learning process. Be patient with yourself and breath deep. Take it one crazy moment at a time, and just ride the wave...your doing GREAT! Remember that it is normal to explode at even the most minor infraction. And of course if your boss is intentionally driving you batty - then understandably you are a volcano. This will all pass. just buckle in and let mother time help you on this one. Oh, and shove something non-cancerous in your mouth, so you don't smoke and so you don't tell off your boss. Sugarnose, The way I see it, if you let your inconsiderate boss be the excuse for you to do something as foolish as SMOKE you are letting him- and old nic- win. Brush yourself off, you're ok!!
