My boyfriend is still smoking and it really bugs me.. My step children are 14 and 7 and they go to there moms house twice a week, Well there mom takes them to there nana's house all the time and there grandmother smokes up a sorm, even when i was smoking i couldnt stand going into her house cause it smelt soooo bad! today when they got back home they smelt sooo bad i made them leave there jackets outside and change there clothes cause i really thought i was going to be sick!... I never smoked in the house always outside and i would have a smoking jacket so that i could take it off ouside and put it back on when i wanted a butt so i wouldnt smell so bad... there nana and papa smoke about 2 packs a day and smoke in front of the kids all the time... Sometimes i feel like im craving a cigg but im really not its all in my head, i would smoke a but after i was done eating i would think i need to go smoke a cigg, but i really dont its just something i was use to doing daily.. I didnt relize how much smoking would take over my life... everytime i would get out of the car i think i need to smoke but i really like i said it was a daily rutine... I think im doing really good with not smoking.. I havnt been around many people that do smoke and when my husband goes on his trip im going to go to my neices house to help her with her daycare to keep myself busy and away from smoke...Sometimes when i go to the store i would smell a cigg after someone was done smoking and sometimes i think it smells good and sometimes i think it smells bad! When i was smoking i would get these really really bad headaches every day now i only get one once in a while... I want to keep it that way... Sorry this is so long... Thanks for listening... Smelling other people is one of the ways I remind myself of why I dont want to smoke ever again. No way do I want to smell like that EVER. Sorry about your bad experience I can well imagine how awful it smells. My oldest son smokes and if I have to pick him up he smells so bad!!! Keep up the good work, your quit is going great.
