Am I doing wrong?

Hi Katie, Take heart ! You are doing tremendously well. Expect a few emotional ups and downs during the early part of your quit, your body is going through a huge cleansing process and this is just a part of the healing. You should be feeling very proud of yourself. Keep it up and enjoy your time out at the beach. I always found time away from the usual daily environment very therapeutic. Hang tough...it gets a little easier every day. How are you doing Katie? You have the right attitude. Sometimes it is an hour by hour decision. Hope all is well. Katie I also had problems with the patch during an old quit. It seemed like there was WAY too much nicotine coming in, even though I was a heavy smoker. You were right to take it off. I think cold turkey is when you are not using any nicotine substitute, such as the patch, gum or inhaler. I have read that the nicotine is gone in three to five days. Katie, We are glad that you are feeling better. As moderators we are unable to prescribe or give medical advice. Check with your doctor or pharmacist for information on dosages and side effects. Continue to push forward and take a look at the program. It can help you with tips and tools to keep you quit and help you move forward :) Josie ______________________ The SSC Support Team.
