Tension may be a factor in this muscles weakness but it is best to consult your doctor as this is not a common withdrawal symptom.
Better be safe than sorry.

Never have heard of sore muscles, Kansas. How are you sleeping? Just thinking maybe you're tense if you aren't sleeping well, which is common during the first few weeks.

There could be some other cause as well, Kansas. Not everything we experience after we quit is caused by the quit. And sometimes smoking masked symptoms of other things.
