Tryinginkansas, Tension may be a factor in this muscles weakness but it is best to consult your doctor as this is not a common withdrawal symptom. Better be safe than sorry. Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team

Never have heard of sore muscles, Kansas. How are you sleeping? Just thinking maybe you're tense if you aren't sleeping well, which is common during the first few weeks. Congratulations on 9 awesome days, Kansas. Keep up the great quit. :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 600 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,019 Amount Saved: $2280 Life Gained: Days: 111 Hrs: 15 Mins: 39 Seconds: 9

There could be some other cause as well, Kansas. Not everything we experience after we quit is caused by the quit. And sometimes smoking masked symptoms of other things. If you are worried about anything, then checking it out with your doctor would be a good idea.
