So drained....

My main problem is a complete exhaustion. It's like I was using up so much energy fighting to stay quit that there was nothing left over for anything else. It's what, now, 17 days. I'm still exhausted. When I get a crave, it's like my entire being goes into overdrive to keep it away. Oh and as a side note: I have been taking Effexor for my depression for two months. It's not that kind of tiredness. It's different. Like I'm very very lonely. It's hard to explain. I've tried everything and it doesn't go away. I've talked to my doctor and she says it will subside. I just want an opinion from someone who been there done that. Thanks. I have been taking Chantix for this quit and it is going well in the staying smoke-free side of things. Unfortunately I feel totally drained of all energy and emotion. I feel like a lump on a log and all I want to do is sleep, sleep, and sleep some more. I know this is probably a normal symptom of quitting, but how long is this going to last? I want to get back to being motivated. How do I get there? I feel lost and just plain blah... Thank you everyone for your replies. Well I guess it will go away eventually right? I'll be up and going again...better than before because I am now a non-smoker. Just got my second month of Chantix so I'm ready for the next week. I see on the label there is a warning of may cause drowsiness. I've had fatigue with quitting before...it just never lasted this long. Anyway forward and onward!
