Hang in there Newpapa, I am feeling exacly the same way. I found out today that if I get under the shower and just let it run on me it feels so good and helps relax me and then the irritation was over. I also bought some meditation CD's and I lay on the bed just before I'm ready to go to sleep and listen and it and it has helped. I'm at the one minute at a time stage hahaha but I know it'll get better. You're doing great, you didn't give into it, well done.

Hang in there NewPappa. I had a little "I can't do this" session today, but it passed. I almost went out for cigs, it was that bad. What great replies from the two above! I also shouted at my poor dog yesterday and now he tinkles when he sees me :( I have to mop daily until he forgives me I guess. You're doing great. Papa... I think we were out of our minds when we smoked! You are only coming back to your mind now! Sure its gonna be a lil cloudy and strange cause its something you havent seen in a while.. why do you think I have such a positive out look on this? Im lost in my mind! haha! You say the honeymoon is over and that might be true but isnt it the experience through out the commitment that makes the relationship so awesome?!?! I actually wanted to yell at myself this eve cause I was getting on my own last nerve with this new and strange positive outlook on this journey. If you saw my first post I said I was scared because it was like I was losing a part of myself... I lost the negative outlook! WOW that was a loss...haha! Ya know we are gonna have good and bad days even if we are smokers! Just look at it like it might be a bad day but how many hours did you add to your life today? hours that you will get to spend making the 2nd honeymoon worth every minute! I put up post it notes all over my house.. I feel like I painted my house bright flippin yellow but they say things that came to mind like you can do it, way to go, another one bites the dust and things my kids will be doin later in life that I want to see. Even if it says "Joe said I couldnt do it" heck you know if its the right person that says you cant do it, you will want to do it even more just to spite them. hehe dont give up now! you are 3 days in .... it can only get better! You saved almost $10.... think about if you were to try to catch up to being the smoker you would have been.. you would need to smoke 58 ciggs really fast to get there and even as a smoker I think we all would get sick if we tried that..lol! Kaiti... Why did you yell at your husband while he was sleeping? That's hilarious. I live alone and I'm getting meaner by the day. Went in my backyard, and the neighbor dog started barking although he couldn't see me through the fence, he could hear me, and I was on my way over to the fence to make more noise to antagonize the dog, but the owner took it inside before I got there. How sick is that? I do feel much better today. Just came back from the second to the last prenatal visit with my wife. Baby is doing great, heartbeat is strong, movement is good. Delivery is only 6 days away now. I felt crazy yesterday but it is much better today. I am still 100% smoke-free! Thanks everyone for all the good advise and encouragement, I am definitely taking it easy today, quitting can be exhausting!
