Congrats!!!!!!!! YAY GO YOU!!!!!!!!!!! dont let it bother you that she went outside.. remember its her decision to smoke, its your decision to be smoke free! Maybe when she sees the light, you all can go outside and not smoke together ;) Peace Dawn My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/31/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 143 Amount Saved: $31.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 15 Mins: 18 Seconds: 38

Hello Everyone Just thought I would check in. Nearing the end of day 7 of my quit. It was also my first weekend. I didn't give in and I'm still not smoking. Kept very busy this weekend. I accomplished alot. I feel very proud, especially because my two daughters came to visit. One stopped smoking October of 2005 and one is currently still smoking. It was difficult knowing she was going outside to have a smoke but I didn't give in. I feel so much better now knowing that I didn't cave. You hang in there. you are doing exceptional. And by maintaining your quit, you are having an affect on her. I just know it. Good for you, Gismo! As long as you're quitting for yourself, you should be able to hang on to it in the face of others' smoking. Doesn't make it easier, by any means, but it makes it more real: if it's just for you, then it doesn't matter a bit who might still be smoking around you. Enjoy your second week -- it should be easier! peteg My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/30/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 69 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,494 Amount Saved: $379.5 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 18 Mins: 15 Seconds: 59
