With their teeth!! A friend told me his dentist told him that smokers don't die with their teeth. This has really made me very happy that I am a non-smoker. Just a little f.y.i for this Monday morning!!

Hey Ter - I have been a constant brusher, flosser and gargler and despite all this hard work, I still had some gum recession (which I found out was related to smoking) - Perhaps that's why they call it "long in the tooth".
I read a thread about someone who had gum disease but whose teeth did not bleed because of circulation (related to smoking) I wondered why my gums started to bleed after I quit......now I know..............Isn't it amazing how many ways we can hurt ourselves by smoking?
