Copying Threads

Anyone know how to copy the link to one thread into another thread? I know it can be done because some of the veterans have done it. When you reply to a thread, there's a set of buttons underneath the window where you type. The third one from the right looks like a little earth/globe with a few links of a chain underneath it. If you hover your mouse pointer over that button, it is identified as "Insert Hyperlink." If you click on it, a little dialogue box opens and asks you for two things: 1.) Text to be shown for the link. For example, you could type in "Click here," or maybe the name of the thread, which is what I did for the example here; I typed in "Hope Springs Eternal." 2.) The actual URL, including the http:// that is at the beginning of a web address. What I did was to go to the other thread first, right-clicked on the "Address" box at the top of the screen, and chose "Copy." Then when I got to this dialogue box, I right-clicked in the space and chose "Paste." This process generates some code that will show in your reply. It doesn't LOOK like the link it creates, but it does work. Here's my example: Hope Springs Eternal Good luck!
